Hello Friends,
We look forward with anticipation to our annual TazWorks User Group Conference (TUG) every year. The interactions, networking opportunities, and information shared make each event uniquely valuable and appreciated.
While we had rescheduled this year’s event to August in hopes of an in-person conference, the latest surge in COVID-19 cases has caused an increasing number of attendees to cancel while others have expressed concern about travel at this time. Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to shift to a virtual setting to protect the health and safety of all involved.
Our plan is to move forward with a two-part virtual conference starting on Wednesday, August 18 and continuing with two days of break-out sessions in September. Part I on August 18th will include a keynote session from TazWorks and MeridianLink leadership, followed by a live webinar with the always popular expert legal/compliance panel. In early September we will host a two-day series of breakout sessions designed to give virtual attendees the opportunity to engage with the planned conference content and learn from each other. Additional information including registration links for both events will be sent out later this week.
If you made hotel reservations at the Marriott at City Creek and wish to cancel, please be sure to contact the hotel directly as soon as possible. We are working with their corporate office to ensure guests will be released from their reservation obligations. In addition, we will be reaching out shortly regarding the handling of refunds for your event registration. If you have questions regarding TUG, please reach out to your account manager or [email protected].
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We share in your disappointment in having to cancel our in-person event. However, we are excited to meet virtually to facilitate the amazing engagement and collaboration we see at every User Group Conference. Please be safe.
Sincerely,
Scott Kimball and the MeridianLink Team
