From the TazWorks™ team to all the attendees, colleagues, and partners who made TazWorks LIVE! 2024 in Nashville, TN, a roaring success: Thank you!
The fun began with a welcome reception at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort, our venue for this year’s event, in which attendees could mix and mingle with industry peers and experts alike, followed by a State of the Union the next morning to highlight key developments in 2024 and set the tone for the days ahead.
Discussions abounded throughout the event: Seyfarth Shaw Partner Pamela Devata shared the latest insights on the background screening industry in the wake of evolving challenges; TED Chief Program & Strategy Officer Monique Ruff-Bell gave tips on creating intentional and purposeful professional growth; and our very own SVP of Sales Nathan Heidger dropped some pearls of wisdom on cultivating a positive workplace mindset.
Not to mention the product demos, Vendor Showcase, Power User Group (PUG) meeting, and dozens of breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics. What Is AI/ML and Why Should You Be Curious About It? gave attendees a brief overview of artificial intelligence and machine learning, covering what the technology entails, how our partners are leveraging it, and how it could evolve in the future. Several collaborative sessions fostered robust dialogue on areas of focus, including tenant screening, international applicants, and occupational health screening, to name a few.
Overall, it was a week loaded with thought-provoking insights and fresh perspectives—but that’s not to say we didn’t also let loose a little! After the first day of TazWorks LIVE!, attendees brought out their cowboy boots for a night of live music and comedy at the Grand Ole Opry featuring Henry Cho, Chris Janson, Lauren Alaina, Craig Morgan, and Sister Sadie.
And who could forget our time-honored closing tradition, the Customer Appreciation Special Event? We had an amazing time sending you off on a high note with an evening of good food, great company, and dueling pianos—not to mention the spontaneous singalongs and dancing that happened along the way!
