Thanks to all of you who joined our webinar last week! We had a great time, and we hope you all learned as much as we did. If you missed it (or if you’d just like to review everything), please see the recording and links below.
Part 1: Data retention & industry best practices
Scott Paler, a partner at DeWitt Ross and Stevens S.C. and chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, provides insights into industry data retention best practices and answers your questions.
Scott’s slides are available here.
Part 2: TazWorks’ new data retention policies
We will answer any additional questions you have about the new processes and features we will specifically be releasing at TazWorks to make sure this transition is as seamless as possible for you. Read our TazSupport articles here for more information:
- New data retention and security policies overview
- Timeline for each phase of rollout
- Phase 1 settings and configuration.
Next steps
The first phase of our new data retention features will go live on Wednesday, December 6th.
This first phase will purely just give you the ability to configure your settings, but those settings won’t do anything at all yet. This is just to help give you a chance to prepare and set up the system exactly the way you want, as well as ask any additional questions you have, before any archiving begins.
If you do nothing, when archiving begins a couple weeks later, we will not create PDFs or export any client’s report files to the external server. Either way, there will be zero visible changes or any impact to your clients for either Phase 1 or Phase 2.
For more information about what will happen in each step and what settings will become available in this first phase, see the links above.
