Spotlight - Disclosure Letter Prompt Tags

It’s a new week and that means the spotlight of the week is here! This week’s spotlight is disclosure letter prompt tags. Prompt Tags allow users to provide a detailed reason to a consumer when a specific tag is input into a disclosure letter or a jurisdictional replacement letter. This feature is easily set up and lets you provide better service to your clients.

QuickApp Reminder Email Change

June 17th, 2019|

QuickApp, the background questionnaire sent via email or text. The reminder email frequency associated with QuickApp has been modified. Previously, it would send every 72 hours based on how many days the email was active. Now, the email reminder has been changed from 72 hours to 24 hours. Applicant’s will receive a reminder notification every 24 hours until the active email days expires. If you send the QuickApp via text, it follows the same configurations as email. This was changed to help facilitate the questionnaires in being completed more efficiently.

Pending Notes Option for Collection Messages

TazWorks is excited to announce a new status alert for pending drug screenings, which saves you precious time. If a drug screen search expires, and we receive an expired message from the provider, the search will change to an error status. If it does not error out and the consumer goes to take the drug screen, an intermediate status will display in the pending notes for all drug screen providers except eScreen. Navigate to the client products tab and in the settings, there is a new option that can be added to allow the collection message to be displayed. Here are the messages for the providers that will display:  


Test is pending collection – PEND 

Test has been Completed – OK 


Collection Initiated 

Collection cancelled 

Collection Complete 

Collection Completed  No/Insufficient 

Collection Completed – Refusal to test 


Collection Cancelled 

Collection Completed 

Collection started

Friendly 60-day reminder, that effective July 31, 2019, TazWorks will discontinue supporting IE 11. TazWorks has decided to discontinue the support due to the increasing performance and security gap between IE 11 and other modern internet browsers, and after a thorough evaluation of the resultant challenges and risksFor the best possible security and user experience, Tazworks recommends using the latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge when accessing TazCloud Apps. TazWorks will not prioritize time or resources to addressing issues that arise from the use of unsupported browsers
