Updated Password Requirements

As part of it’s ongoing security and compliance initiatives, TazWorks wanted to inform you that effective 08/19/2019, the password requirements for TazCloud are changing. Currently the requirements are a minimum of 8 characters including one letter and one digit and can’t repeat any of the previous four passwords. Going forward, the requirements will be a minimum of 12 characters including a letter, a digit, and a special character (e.g. ! @ # $ % ^ & *…) and can’t repeat any of the previous four passwords. 

The new requirements will be enforced when creating a new user, when resetting the password for an existing user, or when a user’s password has expired and he or she must reset the password.

Updated User Interface for Custom Searches & Drug Panels

Under the Product section of the Admin tab you will find Manage Custom Searches and Manage Drug Abuse Panels. These sections have a new look and feel, but the same functionality. The custom search option allows you to add a search to the offerings that are not currently integrated with TazWorks and drug panels help distinguish one substance abuse search from another

Scheduled Maintenance with BGC

If you are using (BGC) for any data needs, please be aware they will be conducting a routine system maintenance on Sunday, August 11th between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM EST. As a courtesy to you, TazWorks is passing along their maintenance announcement to inform you that BGC sourced data may not be available while they are performing this scheduled maintenance enhancement to their web-based systems. BGC also expresses their apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and their appreciation for your patience during this time.

New My Profile Setting

Workload Management is getting much closer to being finished! You may notice in my profile, there is a new default view ‘Workload’. Here is where you can configure whether to default the Workload Management to the Leaderboard or the Workload. If nothing is configured, by default it will go to the Leaderboard. This is available to set but will not take effect until Workload Management is fully released.
