In an ongoing effort to enhance accuracy and compliance, we are adding a new option for the way names are entered into InstaScreen. Screening agencies can continue to separately control how a name is searched for each search type. This compliance option requires each applicant or processor to enter a middle name when a name has been started. If the applicant does not have a middle name, soft validation will require them to check a box to validate that they do not have a middle name. The addition of this option will allow screening agencies to better match results coming back from data providers and researchers.
This couldn’t have come at a better time for our clients, as it has been publicly announced by NAPBS that the Federal Trade Commission’s main focus for 2016 will be on matching criteria and ensuring accurate identifiers are used for applicant processing.
This is just one of many enhancements TazWorks will continue to make to assist screening agencies with the tools they need to report accurate results. If you have any questions regarding this feature, please contact a TazWorks support representative.
