The Department of Transportation has added the following drugs to their testing requirements for applicants and employees:
- methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA)
- hydrocodone
- oxycodone
- hydromorphone
- oxymorphone
As such, we have made the following updates to our software:
- Any substance abuse screening panels that are set as DOT drug will now include methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA) in the list of drugs screened for. This will apply to all DOT drug panels that currently exist, as well as any new ones that are created. It will not affect any orders that have already been placed.
- Since the list already specifies that opiates are included, these additional ones have not been specified further within the list
- If you would like to make the list more detailed, you can customize the text in this list by typing any additional text in and then hitting save. This text will then be visible in the editor the next time you view, as well as in the search editor page.
The list of drugs screened for appears within the search editor and the report results page.

If you don’t want this information to be shared in the report, you can use the text editor in the Admin for Drug Abuse Panels to completely remove the text, just as you can add information.
