Previously, when a disclosure letter was sent and the option to ‘Include Consumer Copy’ was selected, the following items were included in the disclosure letter: the Consumer Copy Letter, FCRA Summary of Rights and the Consumer Report.
To allow you greater flexibility, now when you ‘Include Consumer Copy’ when sending a disclosure letter, you will have the option to select which documents to include in the disclosure letter. The default setting will function the same as before- the Consumer Copy Letter, the FCRA Summary of Rights, and the Consumer Report will be included in the disclosure letter. However, you may adjust the default settings to change which of the three options is included in the disclosure letter.
