August Support Spotlight: Danica DiFrancesco Mitchell

Danica DiFrancesco Mitchell

Q: Danica, what do you enjoy most about working at TazWorks?
A: I love our amazing team and feel lucky to have management that cares not only for us as employees but as people. Plus, free lunch is always a bonus.
Q: If you could describe working at TazWorks in three words, what would they be?
A: That’s tough, I don’t know if three words can sum it up but I’ll give it a go. Challenging, Rewarding and Evolving. I love that my job constantly challenges and pushes me to be a better member of my team. Even after three years, it’s still rewarding to know I have such a direct impact on the success of our clients. I also appreciate the fact that our company is constantly evolving and working to improve, which gives me new challenges to tackle every day. No two days are ever the same here at TazWorks.
Q: What does a day in the life of Danica look like at TazWorks?
A: Like I mentioned before, every day here is different. Our support team is on the front lines for everything that goes on at Taz. You might find me leading a training session, or running down answers to a particularly difficult question for a client or even putting together some instructional materials for our Knowledge Base. I’ve even provided crying shoulder or a listening ear to clients. I’ve built some great relationships with our clients and I try my best to assist in their success as much as I can.
Q: How do you describe your job to someone outside of work?
A: I tell them I’m a technical support, customer service and communication expert. I’d love to see someone to get that put on a name plate someday, it’d be 3 feet long.
Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
A: Lately, I’ve been working hard to build my own business, Golden Acorn Doula Services. In case your unfamiliar with what a Doula is, essentially I assist women from pregnancy to parenting and everything in-between. Besides that, I love spending time with my husband Ryan, whom I was just married two weeks ago.
Q: What would you say is the most rewarding part about your job?
A: I love that what I do every day has a quantifiable impact on our clients’ experience and success. It’s a very rewarding and satisfying feeling.
Q: In the last three years of working at Taz, what’s the most important lesson you learned?
A: That no matter how much of an expert or authority I may think I am, there is always more to learn and new ways to grow.
Our screening agencies love working with Danica as much as we love having her on our team. Thanks for all you do, Danica!
